Governance & Accountability
RIDC provides strategic leadership and oversight for economic development initiatives serving the Ridgway community. The Board of Directors guides organizational priorities, monitors financial stewardship, and ensures projects align with long-term community goals.
RIDC works in coordination with Ridgway Area Industrial Development (Ridgway AID), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which serves as the grant-eligible entity supporting project implementation and funded initiatives. RIDC also collaborates with the St. Marys Industrial Development Corporation in nearby St. Marys, Pennsylvania, to strengthen regional economic development efforts and share strategic insight across Elk County.
Together, these partnerships promote transparent decision-making, responsible investment, and measurable economic outcomes.
