Ridgway Area Industrial Development (Ridgway AID) is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works alongside RIDC to carry out economic development projects. Ridgway AID serves as the grant-eligible entity supporting redevelopment initiatives, facility acquisition, and community investment projects.

The Penn Avenue Project is part of RIDC’s ongoing riverfront revitalization efforts. Properties along Main Street and Penn Avenue were acquired to eliminate blighted conditions, remove deteriorated structures, and prepare the site for future commercial development that supports long-term economic growth along the Clarion River.

RIDC and Ridgway AID are working to activate riverfront land through thoughtful redevelopment, infrastructure improvements, and partnerships that support commercial opportunity while enhancing community access to the Clarion River.
