Penn Avenue Redevelopment Project

As part of its ongoing riverfront revitalization efforts, the Ridgway Industrial Development Corporation acquired properties along Main Street and Penn Avenue to address blighted conditions and prepare the area for future economic activity.

The project began with the removal of deteriorated structures that no longer supported productive use and negatively impacted the surrounding corridor. Site cleanup and stabilization efforts are now underway, transforming previously underutilized land into a redevelopment-ready location.

Once preparation is complete, the site will be positioned for commercial use that complements Ridgway’s riverfront, supports local businesses, and contributes to long-term economic growth.
