Ridgway’s riverfront represents a significant opportunity for thoughtfully planned development that balances economic activity with public access and environmental stewardship. Future concepts include commercial, light industrial, and recreation-adjacent uses that complement existing assets along the Clarion River.
The future of the Riverfront
With the RIDC’s assistance, the Ridgway Borough reclaim 28 acres south of the Clarion River Bridge from out‑of‑state ownership. The community regained local control and new development opportunities. The Borough is currently working on a Ridgway Riverfront Master Site Plan.
